Hannah was my loyal dear friend for about 18 years - and we have been through a lot together!     This page is probably more for me than anyone else, and it is a tribute to her.  I wish I had taken pics of her as a youngster, all of these were taken in her last week.

Erich and I did our best to take care of her in her final days and keep her comfortable.  Since we worked from home, we were able to keep a close eye and spend a lot of time with her.  Her condition didn’t really cause a lot of pain, rather cats with kidney disease tend to fade out as their little organs fail them.  It became evident when Hannah was too tired to continue.  Erich was amazing  and you would think they had been together just as long for how tenderly he cared for her in this state.

Our wonderful vet  was willing to make house calls, so she was able to peacefully leave this world next to me in her favorite spot in the house.   Thank you Hannah for staying by my side.  There will be more kitties in our life, but none will replace you.
Hannah
